I see a lot of people having trouble with dos version of ghost and i thought i would give them i mini-guide in order to solve most of their problems. From my experience Ghost 2003 versions are slower than ghost 11 version.
Ghost 11 copy's 2 Sata drives faster. Ok here goes: 1. Google the following 'Symantec.Norton.Ghost.11.Corporate.DOS.Boot.CD.iso' download and burn the iso into a cd-rom. Download HP USB format tool from and install it.
Download Me dos disk from and create a bootable floppy. Run HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool select Fat32 - create dos startup disk and point to ur floppy drive so that it gets the boot files from there. Press start and in a few secs u have a bootable usb flash drive 5. Copy ghost.exe from the cdrom u created with Symantec.Norton.Ghost.11.Corporate.DOS.Boot.CD.iso (its in d: GHOST) into the usb flash disk. Restart ur pc go into bios and select the usb flash disk as the drive to boot 1st. Make sure the usb flash disk is on a usb slot. When in command prompt type 'ghost.exe' and press Enter Hope that helps.
